Find the Right Fit

Molly brackett, Ma, lpc

My goal is to be the person I needed when I was younger. I want my clients to feel empowered, safe, hopeful, and well equipped for the challenges life throws at them. Since starting my career in 2013, I have become affectionately known as Alpharetta’s “Teen Queen”. I love the blunt honesty, creativity, and willingness to change that I find in teenagers and young adults. I am also passionate about helping people of all ages find their voice and achieve their goals.

I focus my therapy on helping my clients untangle patterns of behavior and patterns in relationships that are keeping them stuck. I will teach you how to name and express your emotions, communicate assertively, set appropriate boundaries with others, cope with intense emotions, gain insights into your strengths and weaknesses, and how to have a healthy relationship with yourself. I will gently nudge you out of your comfort zone because that is where change happens!

I enjoy working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and low self-esteem, I also enjoy working with people who are seeking a deeper self-awareness or any kind of personal growth. I use a variety of therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am down to earth, warm, and creative. I think therapy should be exciting, interesting, sometimes hard, and sometimes really fun.

ALLISON CAREY, MS, LPC

The connection is the first and most vital part of the therapeutic process. One of my strengths as a therapist is easily making that connection with my clients. Exposing the rawest parts of ourselves to a seeming stranger can be daunting. I provide an open and non-judgmental space to explore the things that can even be hard to say out loud to ourselves. I primarily work with adolescent, teen, and young adult girls/women. My passion lies in helping them be self-aware and confident in a world that seems to keep throwing up obstacles to both. It is so apparent that the pressures of today’s world can wreak havoc on self-esteem and leave even those who might seem well-adjusted, feeling stuck and crumbling under the pressure. I have worked in different settings and helped people with a wide variety of problems over the years since starting my career as a therapist. The most common issues in my work are anxiety, depression, eating disorders, OCD, personality disorders, and family systems work.

My goal as a therapist is to help move you forward in life while building a foundation, for your future. I will be there for you in times of emotional distress and also equip you with lifelong skills you can apply to just about anything life throws at you. My 2 main forms of therapy are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I have been told I can be described as “loving but firm” throughout the therapeutic process. Often times all we need is a gentle nudge in order to incite change and be the best version of ourselves.

I am ready to be your biggest cheerleader! I’m looking for motivated clients who are ready for change and looking for the support needed to make that happen.
